LAMBERT TABLE
SKU: NO1-6
The design for this table was taken from a piece Will bought and sold years ago. Its style is mid to late 19th century and subtly Neo-Gothic, with a real emphasis on strength. The majority is crafted from solid oak, but the tripartite base is made from two crossing sections of beech and oak veneer, with the oak grain running away from the central column and vertically on the edges - a feature that wouldn’t be possible if solid timber was used. The surface is patinated and carefully bleached to a slightly lighter colour than the rest of the table to resemble years of use, just like the original.
