A CHARLES II JOINED-OAK LEATHER COVERED CHAIRS

Retaining the original 'Russia' leather to the primary areas with a later 19th century leather edging the seat. The subtle diaper pattern on the leather was produced by pressing the damp surface with a textured wood block.
